My teenagers beg me to make banana bread every week, so I decided to adjust the recipe to make muffins, and they did not disappoint. Grab those week-old bananas from your countertop and let’s get into it. For this recipe, you’ll need a mini muffin pan. This one is my favorite.

To make these chocolate chip banana bread muffins, you’ll need:
- Ripe Bananas
- Egg
- Butter
- Vanilla
- Flour
- Sugar
- Baking Soda
- Cinnamon
- Mini Chocolate Chips
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.

Add the melted butter, egg, vanilla and sugar and stir until combined. Gently mix in the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon if using and mix well. Then, carefully fold in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into a greased mini muffin pan and top with extra chocolate chips if desired.

Bake the chocolate chip banana bread muffins at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes.

Allow the muffins to cool before serving. This recipe makes 24 mini muffins.

Ingredients
- 3-4 Ripe Bananas
