
If you’re a busy adult like me, you might love simple weeknight dinners. This recipe for Garlic Buttered Pasta with Parmesan and Basil absolutely fits that category. It comes together in about 20 minutes and only requires a few ingredients. We aren’t using homemade pasta for this recipe, but if that’s what your stomach requests, be sure to try my recipe!
For this recipe, you’ll start by cooking the pasta according to the instructions on the box.

While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a pan with the olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté until the garlic is fragrant, about 30-60 seconds.

When the pasta has finished cooking, drain the water and return the pasta to the pot.
Add the melted butter and garlic along with the parmesan cheese and basil. Stir to combine.

Serve the pasta topped with more basil and parmesan cheese.
