There’s something extra magical about a warm, fluffy beignet… especially when it’s shaped like Mickey Mouse and sprinkled with clouds of powdered sugar. Every bite feels like a trip to New Orleans Square at Disneyland, where the sweet smell of beignets fills the air and pixie dust seems to linger in every corner.
If you’ve ever wanted to bring that Disney magic into your own kitchen, this recipe is your ticket straight to the parks — no plane or park ticket required (though I can help with that too!).
These homemade Mickey Beignets are soft, golden, and perfectly sweet, just like the ones from Café Orleans. And the best part? You can enjoy them in your PJs while watching The Princess and the Frog for the ultimate magical movie night.

Tips for the Perfect Mickey Beignets
-Temperature matters: If your oil is too hot, the outside will brown before the inside cooks. Keep it steady around 325°F.
-Shape it up: Use a Mickey-shaped cookie cutter for the cutest park-perfect look.
-Double the fun: Dust with cinnamon sugar or drizzle with a vanilla glaze for a fun twist.
-Movie night magic: Pair with The Princess and the Frog or a cozy Disney Parks playlist for the full experience.
Serving Ideas
-Pile them high on a platter and top with extra powdered sugar (there’s no such thing as too much).
-Serve with chocolate or caramel dipping sauce for a little extra sweetness.
-Make it a brunch moment with coffee or a homemade mint julep mocktail.
Whether you’re whipping up a batch of Mickey Beignets on a Sunday morning or planning your next Disney adventure, I hope this recipe brings a little bit of magic (and powdered sugar) into your home. Pin this recipe for later!
