Horchata Recipe

One of my favorite summer drinks is Horchata. I can’t wait to share my horchata recipe with you today! It is a lengthy process, but it’s simple!

Heat 4 cups of water until boiling, then add to a blender or food processor with the rice and cinnamon sticks. Blend well.

Refrigerate the mixture for 4-6 hours then blend again.

Strain the mixture in a fine mesh strainer and discard the leftover rice and cinnamon sticks.

Stir in the remaining ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serve over ice and top with another cinnamon stick and ground cinnamon for garnish.
