Instant Pot Refried Beans

It’s Thursday, which means I’m back with the easiest way to make refried beans in the Instant Pot. Instant Pot refried beans are one of my favorite side dishes to make for any Mexican meal. You can pair these beans with my Homemade Crunchwrap Supremes for the perfect family meal.

Grab your Instant Pot or Pressure Cooker and let’s get to it!

To start, add all of the ingredients to the instant pot or pressure cooker and mix well.

Instant Pot Refried Beans

Place the lid on the instant pot and secure the venting knob to sealed.

Cook on HIGH pressure for 60 minutes then release the pressure quickly.

Carefully drain all but around 1 cup of the liquid.

Using an immersion blender, blend the beans until they are smooth and creamy.

Top with cheese if preferred and serve.
