These crock pot beef tacos are a regular request in our house…and if you have teenagers like I do, you know thatās saying something. The beef is cooked low and slow until itās tender and full of that bold, taco truck style flavor my kids canāt get enough of. Itās an easy, hands-off dinner that makes everyone happy, whether itās a busy weeknight or a casual family taco night. Set out the toppings, grab the tortillas, and watch these beef tacos disappear fast.
To make these incredible beef tacos, season the chuck roast with half of the seasonings. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add the olive oil then sear the chuck roast for 2-3 minutes per side.

When the roast is browned on each side, add the orange juice, lime juice, broth and remaining seasonings, to the crock pot and mix well, then add the chuck roast.

Cook on low for 8 hours or until tender. When you’re ready to eat, remove the roast and shred it with a fork before adding it back to the crock pot.
