
Sometimes you just need a meal that is warm, comforting and full of healthy ingredients. These chicken shawarma bowls check all of those boxes and they’re kid-approved! This recipe is a staple in our house; I make these chicken shawarma bowls at least twice per month and the leftovers are perfect for meal prepping throughout the week. We absolutely love to pair these bowls with my homemade pita bread for a complete meal.
To make the chicken shawarma bowls, you’ll need:
- Chicken Breasts
- Seasonings (including cumin, turmeric, cinnamon and more)
- Tzatziki Sauce
- Turmeric Rice
- Feta
- Kalamata Olives
- Red Onions
- Lettuce
- Cucumbers
- Tomatoes
