Green Chile Cheese Fries

Green Chile Cheese Fries

These Green Chile Cheese Fries are one of my favorite comfort foods. They are simple to make and absolutely delicious! If you haven’t yet, check out my Colorado Green Chile recipe… it is the main ingredient in this recipe! You can use frozen French Fries in this recipe, simply prepare them according to the package. Otherwise, you can follow the recipe below to make homemade crispy fries!

Begin by slicing the potatoes into thin fry-like strips. Soak the potatoes in cold water for 45 minutes to 1 hour. When you’re ready to fry the potatoes, preheat a pot of oil to 350 degrees.Ā

Pat the potatoes dry and fry them for 5-6 minutes at 350 degrees until light brown.

Carefully remove the French fries and allow them to drain on a paper towel and season with salt.

Green Chile Cheese Fries

Place the fries onto a plate, top with Green Chile and cheese then place under a broiler for 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.

Top the Green Chile Cheese Fries with cilantro if desired and serve!

Pin this recipe for later and be sure to follow me on social media so that you never miss a recipe!Ā
