Crispy Homemade French Fries

Homemade French Fries

2026 is the year of girl dinner… and at the center of girl dinner are the one and only crispy French Fries. I have been obsessed with French Fries since I was really young, and I knew that I had to learn how to make them myself in order to save money – HAHA. These homemade French Fries are crispy on the outside and buttery soft on the inside. They pair perfectly with my crispy chicken tenders and secret sauce, and they are SO easy to make.

Start by slicing the potatoes into thin fry-like strips then soak the potatoes in cold water for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

When you’re ready to fry the potatoes, preheat a pot of oil to 350 degrees. Pat the potatoes dry and fry them for 5-6 minutes at 350 degrees until light brown.

Carefully remove the French fries and allow them to drain on a paper towel.

Dip these fries in ranch or my secret sauce for a tangy kick!

Note: If you prefer to use less oil, try air frying the French Fries! To do this, preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees and toss the fries with olive oil. Cook for 18-20 minutes, tossing several times.
