
New week, new bread recipe! This easy to make focaccia bread is soft, fluffy, and loaded with flavor. With its golden, crispy crust and airy, tender crumb, it’s the perfect addition to any meal. Infused with fragrant olive oil, a hint of rosemary, and a sprinkle of sea salt, this focaccia is a savory treat you can enjoy on its own or paired with your favorite dishes. Whether youāre dipping it in olive oil, serving it alongside pasta, or making a sandwich, this homemade focaccia will become a go-to favorite in your kitchen. Simple to prepare yet full of flavor, itās the perfect way to bring a taste of Italy to your table.
To start out, combine the flour, salt, yeast, warm water and olive oil in a large bowl.Ā


Knead for 5-10 minutes until the dough is smooth.

Cover the dough with a dish towel or plastic wrap and allow it to rise for 2 hours.Ā
Next, grease a baking dish and carefully stretch the dough to fit the dish.
Use your fingers to create the iconic dimples in the dough then cover the dish with a towel and allow the dough to rise for another 30-45 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Drizzle the top of the dough with olive oil then sprinkle the rosemary and more salt on top.

Bake at 425 degrees for 22-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve with your favorite soup or pasta or on its own dipped in olive oil and seasonings.
