Easy Focaccia Bread Recipe

This easy-to-make focaccia bread is soft, fluffy, and loaded with flavor. With its golden, crispy crust and airy, tender crumb, it's the perfect addition to any meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 1/2-4 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 TBSP Yeast
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • 2 Cups Warm Water
  • 2 TBSP Fresh Rosemary

Method
 

  1. Combine the flour, salt, yeast, warm water and olive oil in a large bowl. Knead for 5-10 minutes until the dough is smooth.
  2. Cover the dough and allow it to rise for 2 hours.
  3. Grease a baking dish and carefully stretch the dough to fit the dish.
  4. Use your fingers to create the iconic dimples in the dough then cover the dish with a towel and allow the dough to rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  6. Drizzle the top of the dough with olive oil then sprinkle the rosemary and more salt on top.
  7. Bake at 425 degrees for 22-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
