This week, I’m back with Magical Meals and a Movie, this time featuring The Little Mermaid. Today’s recipe fits the theme perfectly! These Nilla Wafer “Oyster” Cookies are so simple and delicious! They are kid-approved and perfect for an under the sea or mermaid themed party. These cookies only require a few ingredients- let’s get into it!
Start out by preparing the frosting. For this recipe, I used my cream cheese buttercream frosting recipe. You can also use your favorite store-bought frosting. To the frosting, add food coloring of your preferred color.
To one nilla wafer, spread frosting across the cookie and then add another nilla wafer cookie on top to make a sandwich.
Roll each cookie in the candy pearls. These are the candy pearls that I used– they worked perfectly!

Serve these Nilla Wafer “Oyster” Cookies and enjoy!
