Today I’m pairing my homemade pretzels with this delicious and easy to make beer cheese sauce recipe. This recipe comes together so easily and only requires a few ingredients. The beer you use is up to you. I used Coors Banquet and really liked the flavor. (As someone who doesn’t drink beer, that’s saying something.)
To a saucepan, add the butter and allow it to melt over medium heat.
Add the flour and mix to create a roux.
Slowly add in the milk, mixing constantly. Then add the beer, seasonings, Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard.
Mix well and allow the mixture to come to a low boil.
Slowly add in the cheese, mixing constantly and allow the sauce to thicken over low-medium heat for 15 minutes.

Serve the beer cheese sauce with homemade pretzels and enjoy!
