Ok, how cute are these vanilla cupcakes? This is my top secret, all-time favorite recipe. I consider this to be the best vanilla cupcake recipe around and I am SO excited to share it with you. For this recipe you’ll need:
-Flour
-Butter
-Sugar
-Baking Powder
-Sour Cream (it makes them SO moist)
-Vanilla
-Salt
Start out by preheating the oven to 350 degrees.
Cream the butter and sugar together then add the eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Then, add in the flour, baking powder, and salt then mix well.

Using an ice cream scoop, add the batter to lined muffin pans. The cupcake liners should be about 2/3 of the way full.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. If you insert a toothpick into the cupcakes, it should come out clean, that is how you will know the cupcakes are done.

Top the cupcakes with your favorite frosting or give my cream cheese buttercream recipe a try! Be sure to share the best vanilla cupcake recipe with your friends.Ā
