Equipment

  • Muffin/Cupcake Pan

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 Cup Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Butter softened
  • 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
  • 2 tsp Vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together then add the eggs, vanilla and sour cream.
  • Add in the flour, baking powder, and salt then mix well.
  • Using an ice cream scoop, add the batter to lined muffin pans. The cupcake liners should be about 2/3 of the way full.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. If you insert a toothpick into the cupcakes, it should come out clean, that is how you will know the cupcakes are done.
