Crock pot Chili

I’m back with another amazing recipe… and this one can be made in the crock pot! As a busy single mom, I am all about easy meals that require minimal ingredients and effort. That’s why I LOVE this Crock Pot Chili recipe. For this recipe, you’ll need:

-Ground Beef

-Onions

-Garlic

-Seasonings

-Red Kidney Beans

-Diced Tomatoes

-Tomato Sauce

Start out by dicing the onion and mincing the garlic.

Heat a sauté pan over medium heat. Add the olive oil to the pan when warm.

Add the onions and ground beef and cook until brown. Season with salt and pepper then add the garlic and cook for another minute.

Crock pot Chili

When the beef is cooked, add all of the ingredients to the crock pot and stir well.

Crock pot Chili

Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Crock pot Chili

Top the crock pot chili with cheese, sour cream and green onions and serve.

Crock Pot Chili Recipe

A simple and delicious way to make chili in the crock pot.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 TBSP Cumin
  • 1 TBSP Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1 Can Light Red Kidney Beans 15 oz
  • 1 Can Dark Red Kidney Beans 15 oz
  • 1 Can Diced Tomatoes 15 oz
  • 1 Can Tomato Sauce 15 oz
  • 1/2 Cup Water

Equipment

  • 1 Crock Pot

Method
 

  1. Start out by dicing the onion and mincing the garlic.
  2. Heat a sauté pan over medium heat. Add the olive oil to the pan when warm.
  3. Add the onions and ground beef and cook until brown. Season with salt and pepper then add the garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. When the beef is cooked, add all of the ingredients to the crock pot and stir well.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  6. Top with cheese, sour cream and green onions and serve.
