
Delight in the simple elegance of these crispy Italian breadsticks, baked to golden perfection. Each bite offers a satisfying crunch, with a light, airy interior and a beautifully seasoned exterior. In a large bowl, combine the warm water, honey and yeast. Allow the yeast to develop for about 5 minutes.

Add in the olive oil, salt and flour and mix well then knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until the dough is smooth.

Place the dough into a large bowl and brush with olive oil. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and allow it to proof for about an hour.

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
Remove the dough from the bowl and cut it into four equal pieces.

Sprinkle each piece with the Italian seasoning then cut each piece into 6 strips.


Roll out each piece into long strips, approximately 12-14 inches long.

Place the breadsticks onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Turn the breadsticks over after 6-7 minutes.
