Garlic Parmesan Knots

Today I’m back with another delicious recipe to share with you. Today, we’re making Garlic Parmesan Knots, the perfect side dish to any meal. These are super filling and easy to make, and you might just have family members fighting over who gets the last one.

For this recipe, I used the same dough from my famous pizza recipe and also my popular calzone recipe. It’s tried and true and will NOT let you down. Let’s get into it.

To make the dough, you’ll need just a few things:

-Flour (Bread Flour works best)

-Yeast

-Water

-Salt

-Sugar

Start out by adding the warm water to a bowl along with the yeast, salt and sugar. Mix well and allow it to sit for about 5 minutes to give the yeast time to work its magic. It should look bubbly and beautiful.

Add the olive oil and flour and mix well.

Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes until the dough comes together in a sticky ball.

Add the dough to a bowl and cover with a dish towel and allow the dough to rise for two hours.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Divide the dough into 8 pieces.

Roll each piece out into a 6 to 8-inch tube.

Cross each end over and tie a “knot”

Secure the ends of the tube so it looks like a figure eight.

Grease a baking sheet and place each of the knots onto the baking sheet.

Melt the butter and mix in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

Brush each knot with the melted butter mixture and top with parmesan cheese.
