Add the warm water to a bowl along with the yeast, salt and sugar. Mix well and allow it to sit for about 5 minutes to give the yeast time to work its magic. It should look bubbly and beautiful.
Add the olive oil and flour and mix well.
Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes until the dough is sticky.
Add the dough to a bowl and cover with a dish towel.
Allow the dough to rise for two hours.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Divide the dough into 8 evenly sized pieces and roll out into 8–10-inch pieces.
Optional: Cut off a small piece of dough and roll out into a 3–4-inch piece.
Form each piece around one side of the breadstick to create a fun, dinglehopper shaped breadstick.
Bake the breadsticks for about 8 minutes.
Brush the breadsticks with the melted butter and seasonings and then cook for another 5 minutes for a total of 13 minutes cooking time.
Serve with ranch and marinara sauce for dipping.
