Method
- Combine the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder then combine.
- Add the cubed butter and mix well before adding the milk. Mix well.
- Roll the dough out to about an inch thick. Using a biscuit cutter or mason jar lid, cut out the donuts.
- Heat the oil to 325 degrees and fry each donut for 2 minutes per side.
- When done frying, immediately toss the donuts in sugar.
- Serve immediately for best results.
